Red wine vinegar

small red onion, finely chopped

Garlic cloves

red chili peppers without seeds, chopped
4 TBSP.
chopped parsley
2 TBSP.
chopped thyme
1 TBSP.
chopped oregano

Preparation

  1. Prepare and weigh all the ingredients
Assemble
  1. Place all the ingredients in a bowl and stir with a spoon.
Steak
  1. Take the steak out of the bag and pat it dry with a paper towel.
  2. Leave the steak to temper at room temperature.
  3. Preheat a grill pan until it is hot, or use the grill when you are outside.
  4. Season the steak generously with salt and pepper.
  5. Brush the steak with a little vegetable oil and grill it on both sides until you get nice grill marks. After turning, brush the steak once or twice with a little oil to prevent it from drying out on the grill. (You can also add some herbs to the oil if you like)
  6. Alternatively, you can also fry the steak in a pan.
Serve
  1. Leave the steak to rest for a few minutes over a low heat before serving.
  2. Slice the steak, season with sea salt and pour the chimichurri sauce over it.
  3. This is a wonderful dish to put in the middle of a table to share. In summer or winter. Enjoy it.
