Planted: Swiss startup brings new meat alternative to Austria

In Austria, two products will initially be available from the end of January, "planted. chicken Natur" and "planted. chicken Kräuter & Zitrone". Outside of Spar, the startup's products can also be found in their own online store. With the market entrance in Germany and Switzerland, the founders are already very content: "Our success in Switzerland and Germany shows that we are fully in the trend with our products. The consumption of meat substitute products has experienced an enormous upswing in the past months due to the COVID-19 pandemic," says Pascal Bieri. Since Austria is also currently still in a lockdown, the new products could therefore also experience a similar development in this country.
