Meat substitute startup Planted raises 17 million francs

Planted is receiving a new injection of growth for its plant-based meat products: The ETH spin-off has raised 17 million Swiss francs in a new round of financing. The round is led by venture capital funds Vorwerk Ventures and Blue Horizon. But Swiss Nati Goali Yann Sommer and existing investors Stephan Schmidheiny, Good Seed Ventures, the Gaydoul Group, the ETH Zurich Foundation and Joyance Partners are also bringing in new capital.
